Gaucho is a fairly new restaurant in the city centre of Edinburgh on the recently developed St Andrews square.
Nestled in-between 5 other restaurants, Gaucho boasts an elegant bar when you walk in the front doors on the ground level where you can have a drink while your table is being prepared downstairs.
Once downstairs the Decor is very imaginative with two wooden tree like structures that look as though they are holding up the ceiling. In the corner is a beautiful glass Cave with lots of different wines. While ordering the waiter comes out with a steak board, and shows you all the different cuts that are available that day and how they should be cooked.
(one of the only few restaurants in Edinburgh that can actually cook a steak that isn't well done).
